This profile was written during the recent vacancy and was intended to give an "honest impression of our benefice and its people as we are now, and our aspirations for the future as we seek to follow God’s will for us in this place".

It describes the Benefice as it existed at the time of writing plus the wishes of parishioners for the future.

To encourage, enhance and protect native species of plants, and to allow our churchyard here in Milborne Port to become a more biodiverse haven for pollinators, it was decided early in 2022 to experiment with adopting a lighter mowing regime in certain areas of the churchyard, and to see what happened as a result.
