I wonder if you have heard about the ‘Quiet Revival’? It’s a reported, low-key, yet significant surge in interest in Christianity and church attendance, particularly among young adults (18-34) in the UK. It highlights a shift towards a more active, intentional faith, emphasising Bible engagement and community, and it’s often driven by personal invitations from friends.
Anecdotally I have heard about many young people locally who are questioning ‘What’s it all about’ and exploring whether faith can offer any answers. Therefore, it seems a perfect time to be offering not only local confirmation classes, but also a Confirmation service in our Benefice in the Summer.
Please extend this invitation to any who would be interested in hearing more about the Christian faith. Each session will offer a chance to reflect, to talk honestly, and to deepen your understanding of what it means to live as a disciple of Christ.
